here we have a fine marquetry longcase clock from around circa 1720
the clock has a fruit-wood carcass and then veneered in a burr walnut, both the long door and the base have floral marquetry panels all hand inlaid, the brass dial is made in the same way as the originals all brass parts with the chapter ring hand silvered, the moldings around the base and the base of the hood are cut from the end grain as the originals, there is a key to both hood and trunk door and one of the finest tassels you will find,
very fine clock that I tend or seem to make only every 7-8 years,
scale 1/12th or 1 inch
made from plywood, brass paper,
