Here we have a Georgian knife box based on an original dating to around 1780, the box form with a double curved front, the lid with marquetry shell inlay opens to reveal a fitted interior, complete with the cutlery as shown,

the piece is made with a separate carcass and then veneered,

scale 1/12th or 1 inch

made from brass and Fruit-wood, stained, colour blended sealed and hand french polished in the traditional manor like all my work.
